In honor of our guitarist Fidel Garcia, I am posting this video to give all of you an idea of the major music project he has been helping to build.
CHAMPAGNE BLUES demonstrates that bands can give very entertaining performances at very LOW VOLUME. We want to protect the ear drums of our fans from the damage most bands unwittingly inflict. Bands do NOT have to be loud to be good.
CHAMPAGNE BLUES has also targeted specific venues and audiences with a musical concept that will meet THEIR needs. It is putting audience and venue first as we prepare a concept that we can ourselves deliver.
It is a bold experiment. And Fidel, along with bassist Erwin Cuenca, is right at the center of it.
As some of you know, Fidel is currently confined in hospital with some serious health problems. He faces very large medical expenses. We urge fans and concerned Filipinos and expats to contribute. Please contact Dudee Alfonso on FB, who is coordinating fund raising.
